Got permission to hunt on my buddys ranch in the Pritchard area. Will be headed down for the last weekend Dec 6-8. Never hunted down there before, did do a bit of pre-scouting in July for a weekend. Real nice area,(mulie hunters dream) in my eye. Just wondering what to expect? Still a bit of late rut or will the bucks be starting to herd up together? Never hunted this late before. Will they still respond to doe calls and such. Have a 4 wheeler for cruising but plan on doing lots of glassing. Lots of ridges and open area.

You are lucky! I was up there last week and saw lots of deer on different ranches, even saw 5 elk on one ranch. Rut is still on! Watched a nice 4x3 buck mount a doe 3 times 70 yards from a road right in front of a ranchers house! Roads up top we're very icy so be careful. Lots of white tails still running around so bring both tags. Good luck!
