Region 7B LEH ELK???

So this am, on my way to work, a herd of Elk jumped in front of my truck, as I went into a four wheel slide trying to brake to avoid them, I thought, this is just like bowling, if I hit them, I am taking at least five with me....YIKES...stopped just short (1ft) of them...herd of at least 20 animals..

But my co worker following behind me, had a straggler jump out and break her headlight...gave her an elevated heart rate adrenaline rush....

So a rancher up here would like to get these guys down in number, they are eating his hay...anyone have a LEH for 7B special ag zone?
