Part One Of My 2013 WT Season.
Here is the pictures of my 2013 WT buck story video clips I had promised to show and tell..
It all starts out with my season putting out my 10 trail cams,,deep cell marine batteries,,salt blocks the first week of June and ending in late Oct Nov lots of sweat hard work that goes into putting all out..
The hand full of marine batteries are hung up on a tree limb at 10 feet hi so the bears don't take the wires off the batt connection the trail cam is off the ground 8 feet so bears have a hard time getting at the trail cam..
It takes an old fart like me three days to put out all 10 trail cams as for the 50 pound salt blocks ,,marine batt lots of sweat run down my face putting out all if I was in my 50ties would only take me a day to do all LOL..
I got over thirty thousand trail pictures from my trail cams over a five month period give or take a few hundred lots of time behind my computer to look at all trail pictures and to delete ones I don't want.
This picture of the buck I shot in early Oct was not near any of my trail cams I did not even know that the buck was in the area where I had shot him ,,the picture of this buck was sent to me from a person I know that hunts in the area I hunt he had a bait station set up in this area where I shot my buck..
I have modified this trail picture to protect this persons bait station this picture of this trail buck was taken from this persons trail cam Aug third at 930am here is the picture of

Part Six Of My 2013 WT Season..
In these clips shows the hard work I put in to finding this WT buck after I shot him out at 325 Yards it was a clean shot he run over the ridge after I had shot him I thought I had missed him ???? he was with a doe at the time ..
On this day I was over at a different area saw nothing then headed up to where I shot this buck latter as I was heading up to the area I saw a couple grouse on the road got off my quad and took two shots with both shots a miss .
My 22 must be out of sight so I headed back to my camp to take a few shots at a target was out a long ways guess with all the bouncing around when the gun is on my front box rack it rattled out of sight.
I got the 22 sighted in at 30 yards then headed on my way up to where I was headed earlier I got to where I wanted to be then headed up the ridge to hunt as I was side hilling I put my binoculars up to glass as I always do I caught this doe in the slash then another animal came out over the ridge just about fell over was it the buck I wanted ???..
I had to think twice before I said yes take him Wayne because you might not get a bigger one latter ??? I said to myself if I take him then my WT season is over in this region I thought abut it for about 30 sec and said to myself I will take him..
I laid down rested my 7mm onto a stump got a good rest no wind at all up hill shot I squeezed the trigger the buck exploded 20 yards over the ridge did I hit him ???.
I headed over to where the buck was saw no blood nothing ??? maybe I did miss him ??? I started looking I looked in what snow I had to look no blood I got onto the wrong set of deer tracks there where lots of different tracks everywhere..
I started looking side ways up down everywhere after about 40 min there he was he was under a big larch tree I looked at where this buck was and said to myself I passed by this tree about 30 feet lower but never saw the buck because of the big old log that was hiding him as he lays...
