Are mule deer still in rut?

Not sure where I'm going yet, but in most places in bc are they still in rut? Region 3 mostly? I will be going on the 23rd??

not all does get receptive all at the same time.

been chasing the same buck..last year and all this year...hoping stoopid season helps me by letting his guard down..he is a BRUTE...

Just watched a mulie buck breed a doe in our bottom field.

Seen a Whitey buck chasing a Mulie doe on my way into work this morning,and he wasn't leaving her alone..he wanted some....

peak rut was this past Sunday......2nd full moon after the autumn solstice.....This year was late

Hunted this weekend and never saw anything over three points with the does. Most does were alone in groups. Small bucks were nose to the ground and chasing does but the does were not receptive at all. Saw over 80 in two days with no big guys showing.

There still in Rut around here! Heard of 2 big ones crossing the roads in front of morning traffic from the working class folk, so now's the time to be out there I'd say!
