My sister is getting into some extreme forms of art, she saw some skulls down in the states that had been "tattoo'd". She is thinking about trying it, but I've heard its not legal to tattoo any animal skulls in Canada. I tried finding info on this in the regs and couldn't find anything. Any info would be appreciated

I can't see why decorating a skull would be against the law...

ya, I can't see why it'd be illegal.
but then, there's some pretty messed up laws out there.

Ya, she doesn't wanna just paint them. She wants to burn holes into them, in the name of "art". I just wanted to be sure is all. And I will also be buying/accepting any skulls people wish to sell/donate. The more rare, the better(ie. grizz/bison etc, will also pay better). She is wanting the entire skull, including lower jaw.

Ya, I will. Sadly, she didn't speak up till it was too late with my last deer. Hopefully someone will get something in the Kelowna area that they wont want. She is new to this, so shell need to practice

As long as the animal is dead....go for it.
