you could get right to the lake before, haven't been there in a while.Bottom part lots of rock, upper lots of swampy areas

With appropriate river levels and good skills you can make the lake....you will need the skills for the trip down as the pucker factor goes way up.

was at the lake early summer, very beautiful. hope you like jumps and dents though, coming down is pretty rough.

Was up there last year for sping bear, one tricky spot with a few can openers. After that its a cake walk, worth the trip to Alastair lake.

For fun go up the Kitslas canyon on the Skeena.Three channels,take the middle one.I think.
