I'll put together a quick version of the events, although it was my buddy that pulled the trigger.
He was scheduled to work Sunday, but fortunately received the day off on short notice.
This opened the door for a potential day hunt.
Not wanting to travel far for a day hunt, consideration was given to Squamish,Skagit and Harrison.
The latter was decided upon and as it would happen, it delivered results.
1 Doe spotted and 2 Bucks.
A spiker and a descent 4x3, making the decision on which to pull the trigger easy.
This is his best Blacktail to date and will see the wall in his trophy room.

Does anyone know the name of that plant you see below the deer in the picture? I think it grows mainly in coastal areas and the leaves can be used to treat burns. Also seems to be in the background of a lot of BT-down pictures.
