4-06 cow elk draw

As the title says I have an elk draw for all of dec for 4-06 zone c (includes a portion of 4-07) I don't normally throw in for a draw that I know absolutely nothing about but I figured I got to start elk hunting sooner or later. I wont let the tag go to wast and hope someone could point me in the right direction so I'm not going at this totally blind. Any info at this point would help.
