Best place to mule deer hunt in bc

Was thinking of going to surrey lake area but my buddy was there the this weekend and said there's a ton of snow,over 2 feet , not much deer moving around at all.. Saw some moose but that's it's .. Do you think I should go somewhere else.. Maybe dryer like cache creek or somthing, where's the best place to go at this time of year???????

the deer are hear in PG, the snow dump/storm has them moving now, my buddy took a decent white tail yesterday and seen a 2 mule bucks and 4 does plus 2 whiteys, get out there now
