This is why I love living in BC. Hiked up into the mountains behind my house, walked around for 3 hours, saw some rubs and scrapes and then ran into these guys. So much fun.

beauts.
I miss hiking up in the hills there.
i'd be out the day after the season closed, hiking and scouting, seeing how the deer were moving through the area and getting a great look at some of the deer that were in there.
good days, fun times.

Shhhh...Don't give it away haha. I was just walking a rub line for like 10 minutes and spotted the big 3 point laying down by himself with no does anywhere near him. The smaller 4 point chased a 2 point buck right passed me and then he started following a doe. Other than that just a bunch of does and fawns walking around.

Those are awesome photos. Great when you get to shoot deer and they are around for next year. Kind of like catch and release. If you are using a quality SLR you can sell those photos at places like istock photo. I sell photos there and have made some decent coin.

A couple days ago I went to look at a spot I was seeing tons of rubs and only had about a half hour of light left. Almost black out and it was getting pretty hard to see I spotted a couple does and knew there had to be a buck with them. Didn't have enough natural light so I had to use the flash to be able to see him. And had to boost the exposure up a lot. Looks like a really old guy, what do you guys think?

Went for another hike today and spotted the tall 4 point again from a km away and walked to get a closer look. He would not let one of his does get more than 10 feet away.

Spotted this guy on the hike out from about 500 yards away. He looks really young but has a lot of potential.

Got a long way to go yet. Not much mass and the tines are uneven, that's in the genes and won't change over the years.

Not even close to the biggest two point I've seen but I think this guy is still on the younger side... compared to the others anyways...
