Out on the Harrison river.

Did a couple of days out on the Harrison River this weekend. Could hear a few others out hammering some ducks. Was a good time. We hammered 12 ducks on Sun. and then 10 this morn. This morn was crazy windy. My face and lips got a little wind burned/chapped. Both days was a mix of mallards and widgen. The mallards came out of a cornfield some wheres their gullet was full of corn. No fishy ducks as of yet. thank goodnes.

Qwa-honn dosen't have a vinci, he has a SBE 2, I have a vinci. As for how they are vs a Beretta I wouldn't know since I have never fired a Beretta. I love my Super Vinci and havent had a problem with it yet. that being said I have only put less than 10 boxes of shells through it. When I bought it they brought me an Xtrema 2 to compare it to, and I found the Xtrema to be uncomfortable in my hands. The forend and grip by the stock are both thicker on an Xtrema and since I have smaller hands I found them uncomfortable vs the Super Vinci. It breaking apart into 3 pieces makes it infinitely easier to clean I will say that much.

In the end you will need to hold and use both to decide what you want. People will try and swing you left and right of which one to go with based on their own use but most people don't give them both a fair chance. "Listen to all good advice, but never substitute someone else's judgement for your own"

I was wondering how the duck hunting was! Was out at the mouth of the harrison yesterday fighting off chum and listening to the shotguns. Good to hear! :-)
