There's a few good spot to check north of town near Coalmont, but as Mulies closed today, there's not much point in going till next year. There's a few white tails but a few would be an understatement!!

Hunt the whipswaw road 10 min from town, it is a 70 km loop once you get to 3 km. Too many deer to count. it also has elk good luck
