A great way to end the season

Between school and timber cruising on weekends life could not be any more busy, thankfully I had the good fortune to get the long weekend off to come home and hit the mountains.

Congratulations! That's a fine buck. Great write-up. You've set the bar pretty high for yourself, that being your first solo hunt buck. I know the fantastic feeling from experience...my first solo buck was very similar to yours, but that was about 56 years ago when there were a lot more big bucks to choose from. Good job!

Nope didn't purchase any rifle on here. But good call on rifle only its a 30-06 rather then a .243
