just looking for some input recommendations on which rig to purchase for hunting in the norther area, tin top or soft top..

We have a soft top that was a really good deal, but i would have prefered a hard/tin top which wont't wear out.

Do you think there would be any issues with loading and unloading things in and out of a tin top?

Tin top all the way, if it gets too cold you'll crack the rear windows rubbing against branches, also the tin top holds the heat in a little better

Soft top with a f/g removable hard top - best of both worlds. :)
