texada island this weekend!

hey guys,

we're going to texada island this weekend, unfortunately it takes a full day to get there and a full day to get back due to the ferries so we'll only have 2 days to hunt the island.. anyone know where its best to focus your efforts?

I have heard there is a strong population on the north end of the Island but I can't tell you how much public land there is there, sorry.

Start your hunt on the south end, too much private and closed areas on the north end. 1st,2nd and 3rd lakes and Bob lake is a good place to start. Good luck.

This is good advice. I know texada very well. I don't hunt it, but spent lots of time there in the summers.
