Been hunting here for 10 days .Seen over 50 does but only 3 bucks.Lots of snow up top by Brenda ,my question is will the big bucks stay high in the deep snow of come down looking for the does .There is lots of tracks heading down already but not seen much in the last few days.Trying to get my son a 4 point mule deer or any whitetail buck.

The bucks will be where you find does......I know of a few bucks taken this week up there and that was below Brenda's elevation. Good luck!

Avoid the roads and you will do just fine.....look for fir and aspen stands that enable you to still hunt quietly, slow and steady.....

Go hunt around Peachland lake, lots of deer there, even decent moose around there...

Lots of tracks still at 1500 m. in about 40 cm. of snow. They still have food in the home turf , no rush to move yet.
