I've been asked by a couple of people to post pictures of the cougar rug in my guess the score thread. Rug is 7'6" nose to tail (live cat was 7'1"). Excellent taxidermy work by Dean Titanich.

A early-mid 80s one piece, neon ski suit!

Cat must have had a heart attack when he saw the Dude walking up to him in that outift!

Actually GG, Hilbaloney has this outrageous neon lucky cat hunting jacket that he wore on our hunts...funny you should say that! LOL! The pic below shows the wild man in his neon jacket on another hunt.

Mr Dean, we had hunted most weekends of the season and I had held off taking smaller cats, waiting for a bigger one. The day I got mine, we had snowmobiled a few trails on a steep hillside, and were coming back down when we spotted a good cat track crossing our sled tracks. We "boxed the cat in", meaning we checked a few other roads around the area to see if it had bailed out on us, as you don't want to release the dogs if the cat is far away. Seeing no other tracks, we released the dogs. They were baying treed within 20 minutes, which is fast. The cat was in a huge fir tree on a steep hillside. I shot it with a double lunger with a 308. Unfortunately, the cat lunged into a crotch in the tree and hung up dead about 45 feet up. We had to cut a long aspen tree and use it as a prod to knock it out of the fir tree. That took a few hours and lots of grunt. Lots of work but well worth it!
