Didn't see much for sign down low, although a lot of vehicles pounding the area as usual. Crawled up a super tight steep little deactivated road (got a buck up this goat trail last year) and found truck tracks going in, and not out. This was after crawling the side buy side through what I thought no truck could pass. (very deep and almost vertical sloped deactivation ditch) Figured I would have seen fresh signs of them going up on my way in. Puddles were clear, etc. Turned around and let em have the area. Spend the day exploring and ended up going high. Once onto the snow we (wifey joined today) kept climbing beyond where the last vehicle turned around obviously unable to climb a hill. The new maxxis bighorn tires are awesome in the snow. We immediately started to see all kinds of track including many fresh deer crossings. Didn't see anything after doing some walking, but what a great day out. I'll be going weekday next and getting up way earlier.

Looks like a fun day. Definitely not expecting that much snow, already.
