Bear lake area- Prince George

hi guys, I don't do this often... I'm stuck up in PG for 3/4 days here and have a bunch of time to kill. I have asked a couple of friends and done a fair bit of google earth study looking for some decent areas to hunt muleys or whitetails. I like to get out and hike and my path has kinda led me out to bear lake and surrounding areas. Any suggestions? I feel like I'm going out blind, would be nice to get into some deer, dont need secret spots or a bruiser buck, just looking to cut a tag and put some meat in the freezer. Also, can anyone suggest a real good butcher in the pg area??

If your going for deer bear lake is the wrong direction.

worked around that area quite a bit. Deer are around there for sure but always seen more numbers south, west, and east of PG.
