Once you learn how to chironomid fish you won't go back.....You can out fish most everyone on the lake..Find the fish ..anchor down..and hangon...LOL

you got that right, only challenge is have your box with every known color to man, I have seen some chironomids in some pretty neat/different color combos.

Yhis one with a white head is deadly in more than one lake I fish in the early season

Muskrat those are some very nice chronies you tie there, judging by how slim you tie them and your usage of different types of synthetics are you by chance one of the chironomid addicts that lurks around Williams lake in the spring? Was heavy into it myself for quite sometime but life,hunting and handloading has taken over, The whole interior/chronie/double indicator thing has really grown in the last several years up there, almost like a cult following now......boy do I miss it.....some VERY big fish up there if you know where to go.

Im originally from Quesnel so I have fished alot of lakes and rivers in the area. I am a chironomid addict and make many trips every year back to BC to fish the lakes.
