Finally had them dropping from the heavens in mondo wads cut 18 drakes and 6 hens, I'll try harder next time tony. Know how you like those all drake limits.

We had 3 to finish so each man got one drake to cut. Matt picked one. Next flock I pulled up and dad shot the drake I was aiming for. Last bird I sprung from the blind and gave him a Halloween scare

Haven't shot a banded hen yet tony. Two greenheads and a drake pintail. But we don't shoot a lot of hens so I guess the data is a bit skewed.

i know they like to band hens more sometimes because they will return to the same nesting location year after year. Brant do this. So they can keep tabs on the same birds year in and out

Solo hunt in the rain. Cut 6 lessers and 2 cacklers. I will only ever shoot 10 small geese never honkers.

Well you only shot 8,what went wrong???:mrgreen: Run out of shells??? Had to go back to the truck for toilet paper???

Could of waited another half hr and got them but it was already 10 am and we had ducks to clean.

I had to remove foot from mouth after finally getting into birds Lorne.

That speck had to be surgicially removed. been watching it for a couple days with keen interest. Finally presented a shot.
