Got this guy running with 4 does here in region 8. Big swollen neck on him. Dropped him at 120 yards with my 243 Savage. 220 pounds before skinning and 184 pounds after skinning.

Hahahahaha. I just bought this cart not too long before the season started. This guy was the first animal i used it on. Was using a sled before that. I'm glad i had that rope. I got a couple of those snap together straps with this cart as you can see in the other pics but when i cinched them up tight they kept on coming apart.

My daughter, my dad and I went up to our usual spot in 8-1 and got nothin. Had my sights on a 4pt but didn't shoot because all I had was its ass to shoot at. Hunted hard in that area on foot and jumped a moose.. Many does.. And a few white tails that moved like lightening. Seen plenty but ran out of time before I honed in on them. O well gunna try a few day trips closeby and put some miles on my boots. Daughter is pretty discouraged because we got a huge 4pt last year (like 300lbs before gutting) and nothin this year. Tried to tell her is was a successful hunt because we seen plenty. But she was pretty discouraged and thinking of not going next year unless she wins LEH now. Poor thing. Have to get my son out now. He's chompin at the bit to hunt.

Anyhow. Great buck man!!
