I'm still trying to nail down our destination for next weekend. Has anyone seen many whitetails in MU 3-17 or 3-30? I've hunted the area twice before and only seen muleys. I love the area but if I have the option to be looking for either species (and don't have to count spikes on whitetails) then that is a bonus.
Thoughts?

Thanks, bigredchev. I wonder what 3-18 is like. In my time in 3-17 I've only ever seen muley does. The question is where? :)

Seen whitetails in the venables valley (3-17) and Botanie valley (3-17) as well as a alfalpha field along the fraser, between Lytton and Lillooet. So I would say they are down low as they are spreading. All the siting were on private land or very close to it.

Hunted most of 3-30 for the last two years and haven't seen any whitetails, but that's not to say they aren't there.
