I was up there for five days beginning of the month. Saw about 10 does and one buck running. Nothing else, but that was a while ago.

Just came back from there. Our group of 4 took 4 wt and 1 spike fork moose. Dont be afraid to get out and walk the cut blocks. We got all our animals while walking the cuts. Good luck

Not sure anymore but alot of the deer use to move out of there in October, that was the Pennask area. I would bet there are better places to go but hopefully someone will chime in here for you. Might be better closer to Merrit or Kelowna

I don't know why don't you ask one? Just speaking from years ago and hoping it is not the same as it use to be. Hate to see someone spend a week and see very little

I've been hunting up there since before the connector was put through.
I've always found deer up there well after the end of October.

Not the exact same area but I just walked in the door from a week in 3-30, there was lots of deer around the start I the week and we noticed fewer and fewer as the week went on, all the bucks we saw were smart enough to stick to private property, we did see a moose at long distance but there was no way to get to him :( , a week earlier in the season last year it was a lot colder and 2 feet of snow everywhere this year it was t-shirt weather and no snow anywhere the weather was whacked out this year, we did see a bobcat which was pretty cool and grouse numbers were decent.....

Anything up by paradise lake/pennask summit?

there will be a shitload.
went to Kamloops today and the snow was right down below Aberdeen.
in merritt, it was trying to turn to snow right in town and the snow is just up from the valley bottom.
there's a lot up pair-a-dice way.
i'm going to try to get out tomorrow maybe.

Was through the bear- esperon- Barton- Nicola- bear loop today, coming out sunset and down the connector. It snowed 2" last night in most areas adding to what fell on the wkd. There is about 8-10 inches above 1600m and less as you drop down. Roads are all still drive able without chains, 4wd is needed on some side roads but not the mainlines

lots of snow as of yesterday. Snow is wet and stick 10in plus in spots... tough going on side roads without good tires or chains....with the extra weight the beetle kill pine is falling....be prepared to cut your way in and out...happened to us twice yesterday with trees falling behind us after we had passed

Was in that area yesterday and the deer seemed to be lower. Tons of sign in 8-11 but I drove into 3-12 and the elevation increased deer sign decreased. Easy to track - lots of snow. Bring a shovel and a saw.
