Anywhere there is water, most frozen now, as we are already ice fishing, but next first week of September spend a couple days figuring out where all the ducks are the hunt there

the next duck hunting for me and steelpulse wont be till opening day next season, everything we hunted this year is frozen solid even the bigger water. like he said we are ice fishing and predator hunting now. there are loads of birds around Kamloops, just look around next summer early September and you will find birds. lots of teal around then, great shooting and even better eating. later there are more mallards, then come the divers, all great ducks all close to Kamloops. this was my first year hunting waterfowl on the west coast and i was impressed, with just a little scouting we had an amazing waterfowl season. any body of water held ducks in September, you just had to be ready to shoot at legal light. the pre season could not be underestimated though, without knowing where the ducks want to be, even what part of a specific body of water, you could have ducks landing 75 yards away all day long and not get a shot. scouting matters as with every animal in you hunt.

Does anyone know type the duck the one on the far left is called?
The one with the white belly, with a black head and neck.
