Princeton Elk, Albeit a week late. :)

Picked up the Son in Princeton tonight to go on a quick Grouse Hunt NE of Princeton.
Didn't see a thing but came across a herd of Elk, about 6 or 7 girls and 3 bulls - all of them 6 points or more.
I've never targeted Elk but we just might be returning to the spot next year all tagged up.
And a week earlier to comply with the regs.

Any body know how the elk are doing around princeton ? are the numbers up since only 6 points can be taken.

They are doing very well...except on a certain farm I know....:twisted:

I saw a herd three times this year always on private land there was one bull with six on one side and a single main beam with a three foot drop time club on the other. It wasn't north east though.
