Spent three days in the blind with the bow tucked in waiting for deer
Last chance for me as next set of days off are in rifle season.
Had a nice 3x4 whitetail hang up at 71 yards and turn and walk away, a big whitetail doe and her two yearlings as well as a nice little fork mule deer and his mother.
All of them never even came close to being able to feel the joy of one of my muzzy's

view from the blind

At least you you saw activities, which is always great in my book. I was in the tree stand last Friday and saw nothing. Leave my stand to go home, and a beautiful 3-point BT jumps in front of my truck. Runs in front long enough for me to think about getting a picture of him. Anyway, the good news is, he's near where my stand was.
I was told to still hunt instead. Maybe I should listen.
Why are you switching to riffle now? It was already riffle season, why not persevere?
