Another first buck down

I've taken my girlfriend out a few times this year and we haven't been able to get her to connect yet.

Until today that is.

Went out in the rain and fog this weekend. Saw a bunch of deer, mostly muley does and a few whitetails that had no intentions of hanging around to get shot. Yesterday we actually found a snake out and about, didn't think that they were still out.

Anyhow, after hiking around all year, and in some tough spots we actually connected with a nice two point, which is actually what she was looking for, on the way out near the road. I was actually happy as some spots we hunt are a tough slug getting them out. One shot with the 06 and it only went 20 feet. Perfect shot and the TTSX did its magic.

Now I can concentrate on my deer.

Good for her! Nice to see the ladies connect. Great smile, reminds me of the smile on my wife's face when she got her first deer many years ago. (also a 2 point) Unfortunately I didn't get a picture; good for you for recording the event.
