Yesterday I had a guy tell me he saw a moose at Cascade Bay on the east side of Harrison Lake, not sure exactly when but in the last year or two.

I've never heard of moose in this area and never seen any sign although there is a lot of terrain there. Possible or bs?

Wouldn't doubt it a bit.. Dad has seen a cow up Slollicum (sp?) back in the 80's

Might be possible, I had 2 guys tell me last year that they saw a moose in the Skagit Valley.

I was coming home from there. There were two cow moose in the ponds up to their bellies in water and another up on the grass. Couldn't stop for a better look. To much traffic.

Last year someone on the forum reported seeing moose in either Ashlu or Squamish River Valley. Respondents said "probably Elk". OP said "that's what I thought too, until I saw the cow moose.

Moose weren't in the Chilcotin 100 years ago (or were just getting there, depending on exactly where).

I remember seeing signs on the Hurley road, probably 20 years ago, indicating there was no moose season there. I figured "Who cares? No moose here anyway". Then I saw one.

I wouldn't be surprised if they expanded range southward/coastward.

Perhaps migrating closer and closer in attempts to flee from the wolves!
