I would like to share the thrill of bringing down my first 4 X 4 muley!
After 28 fruitless hunting days last year, this year is off to a tremendous start!
I finally got to devirginize my Jr. Remington .708 by bringing down my very first 4 X 4 on the spot with a single hand loaded 140 grain Nosler partition bullet to the shoulder!

ps., this is not my first buck but my first 4 X 4.
1st two years ( 3 years ago, cause last year I got skunked) I bagged 5 muleys, the first a spiker, the rest 2 points with my Browning .270 stainless, also hand loads.
ok and here's the joke:
