Rendell Cabins

Anyone know the condition of the cabins at Rendell ?
Is there lots of logging going on up Goatskin ? Nevertouch area ? Grano area ?
Any help would be great.

Truck, hauling down goatskin and rendell, lower nevertouch is all logged,not much left. No activity up grano. One thing to remeber is in a couple of weeks all the burning of logging debris piles will begin and there is a huge amount to dispose of so the christian valley will probably fill with smoke.

To the best of my knowledge...Rendell Cr Cabins are still shut down.
It's too bad I liked going there.

I stayed in one of the cabins in 2009 and was disgusted at the condition of it. There were flies by the hundreds that had nested in there for the winter and when we lit the fire place they woke up and were buzzing around like crazy. Our original plan was to stay for 2 or 3 nights but after 1 we booked it out of there. with that said a good cleaning and good management would turn things around I'm sure. I totally love that area, I worked on the power generation system that feeds the ranch and cabins back in 2000.I got to know the ranch family fairly well and was invited to hunt for whitetails whenever I went up there for work.I shot my first whitetail on that farm in 2007
