Double E cabins [Archive]

Has anybody stayed at Double E Cabins near Westbridge lately? Are they in operations this fall? Still the same number? Appreciate any info. Thinking of trying them out for a few days.

My friend just got back from a 10 day hunt there. They had a good time staying there.

I just got back last week from my hunt. We decided to do the wt doe season on the long weekend we arrived thurs and stayed until tues. we managed to see one Cranker wt buck but he took off quick. Three of us somehow missed a doe each myself included. :(. But all was not lost as we came back from our four day hunt with three wt does a spike mulie and a small 5x6 elk. Seen tons of animals hanging around various camps despite seeing lots of people.

Just wondering how you guys made out ,takeing a couple of kids up there for the nov 10 weekend ,i havent been up there for years ,i know the Rendall creek area but was curious to know if theres some closer areas a little closer to the cabins

Dad, brother, and myself hunted last weekend for 3 days on top of the Beaverdell FSR (?) that runs between the CV and Beaverdell and only saw 3 WT's on the last morning in two different spots in which we could not take a shot at. 11 people we know went up Thanksgiving weekend and the following week and connected on 7 WT's and a bear. Appearently that weekend was a meat shop in the area. Haven't been up the CV on Thanksgiving Weekend for the last 4 years but last time we went up at that time we connected on a little 4x4 WT.
