Ok thanks. The only time I did not see anyone else was when I was hiking but then I saw a bunch of people once I got back to the vehicle.

Congrats, 303Fan. I would never say there are no deer in Princeton. In fact, 2 years ago at around 4:30am as we drove through "downtown" Princeton on our way to our hunting spot we had to stop for a good sized buck and a few does to finish crossing the street. :)

You can tell a lot about deer population in a region just be driving paved roads at night. I'm lucky enough to get reports from my brother everytime he has to peel deer splatter off the grill. He's a night time long haul trucker so he sees/hits quite a few. So far Princeton has the high score this year. Kamloops is second, but the season aint over.

I imagine it's like any place where there is a lot of hunting pressure. Deer are going to stay nocturnal for the most part and most are not dumb enough to wander around too much or bed down in view of the road during legal hunting light.

Congrats on a nice Princeton buck! You earned it!!
