Arrowstone park

Anybody ever hike into this park in late seaon. Do you think it would be a good late season area? Can you glass the area well from the ridges. Any spots you would suggest to camp out for a night if I hiked in? Does this area get lots of traffic Scottie creek and other cache creek areas

Decent late season area but was FAR better years ago before they salvage logged the big beetle killed pine out all around there. You'll still see animals on foot. By truck you'll be in competition with the locals and LMLers who pound Scottie, Battle and everything else around there. Animals are still taken, as they are in other areas too, but it's not Shangri-la.

If you hike you should find what your looking for.There is some horrendous blowdown in that area and the big boys like to hide in it, retrieval can be a bitch.

Thanks for the replies guys. might head up that way for a week in november. looking for a spot less crowed.
