I've been hunting a mountain top at about 1800m just south of highway 97C. Each time I've hunted the area in the past 3 weeks I've seen quite a number of mule does/bucks. Yesterday I didn't see any. There is about 2" of snow in the area now.
Would you reckon they could be migrating down to lower elevations already?

That population typically moves up and down with the 'weather' as opposed to other populations ie, CV where they usually do it all in one push in October.

Should also say IIRC before the connector (wildlife fence) at least part of the population from pennask and North did migrate to peachland fairly consistently in October. There were a bunch of does that were collared that headed out rain or shine.

Glad to hear that, I'm new to this area and there is a hog up there I'm hoping to meet again.
