To clarify, I have all the gear required, I know what to take and was not so much looking for general backcountry advice. I was hoping someone would share their knowledge of the areas and point me in the right direction. These are both very large areas and gas isn't exactly cheap these days. I'm not asking for a map to a goat, just hoping to narrow down the areas a bit.

Some very good goat surveys from a few areas there that should point you to some higher concentrations and areas to hunt. Lots of information contained in the report thats easily found online. Should give you a good start to get out and glass some up.

Thanks Rackmastr, I've been looking at the surveys for a while now and have done a fair bit of google earth work. I took a quick trip up to 4-34 last month and put on a ton of miles trying to identify the best areas for access and spotting. The weather didn't cooperate the day I went, so I didn't get to do much spotting.
