    I was about to make some jabs about the tree hugger pants , but those actually look pretty good. Where can they be had ?

    I have used Royal Robbins Zip-n-go convertible pants for many years. They are not designed as a hunting pant, but they are tough.

    I like the North Face Paramount convertible pants a lot. Very breatheable, stop wind and dry super quick. Being able to zip the legs off on hot days is an added bonus as well.

    $50-$60 on sale don't suck either.......

    I actually do wear those to the office. A colleague told me one day "do you have a formal meeting- why are you dressed up"?

    Picked up a pair of US army unlined Gortex pants off of eBay for $35 (includes shipping). Brand new still in manufacturers plastic wrap. Damn good pants.
