    Long Island - Harrison Lake

    Hello,
    I am looking for some info on the above mentioned island - How is hunting/access/terrain there?
    All input appreciated.

    many cabins almost no deer...have freinds that stay there more like a resort.

    I paddled my canoe over there from 20 mile bay once (mid 2000s?) And hiked around the top part of the island. It's pretty thick in there. Like difficult to walk, let alone see anything further than 20 yards.

    I heard there were blacktails there but I didnt see ang sign when I was there.

    I'd rather hunt the cut blocks around the lake

    I used to work do some work there, in fact installing and removing protective cones for planted trees because of deer browse. So yeah, there are lots of deer, but the ones we saw were pretty small. I did find a decent shed over there though.
