Sign in with your BC Hunter Credentials (pretty well everyone has these by now)

Then you will given the opportunity to vote whatever way you feel towards the proposal.

Following that you will be offered a comment section.

My Bad. It is a LOGIN Button. Was relying on an aging memory here...

    Go to this page: https://apps.nrs.gov.bc.ca/ahte/hunting

Bar Header directly under the BC Logo.

Fourth (and last) item in header bar: Login.

    And away you go...

At the bottom of each and every individual proposal's page, there are three buttons: Support Neutral Oppose.
    Pick your poison and click.

You can't actually comment until, after you do that...

Then a dialogue box will open up below those three buttons providing the opportunity to give them hell.

No mention about wolves and other predators being an issue....no mention of unregulated fn hunting either. Too political for the politicians...

So how likely are each of these regulation changes to go through with or without the support of the hunting public?

The last time they did this for the 2018-2020 regs, the proposal to shorten the GOS for moose in Region 6 from 1 week to 3 days was in there. Actually, they proposed 2 options for that reg change. The other, if I recall, was a 2 week GOS with the spike fork/10 pt , tri-palm antler restrictions. I am not sure if the most votes won or not, but I recall supporting the antler restriction proposal because it gave folks more time and opportunity to hunt. Obviously I didn't get my choice.

The 3 day GOS has certainly reduced the number of hunters from elsewhere in the province coming to the southern MU's of Region 6 for a moose hunt. Hardly worth the trip from Lower Mainland for a 3 day hunt. Now the areas farther north (Iskut, Dease Lk) are seeing increased pressure.
