We caught a trophy stick once too. Usually we try to keep them so they don't breed, but I think we ended up releasing this one.

them rat fish look like an alien fish..
ive caught another line then a rod, rocks-kinda lava lookin rocks, and sticks n logs.
rat fish are alien looking things all right. Not good table fair at all but the old timers figured out that they're full of oil once rendered that works very well on parts in boat's stuffing boxes, fishing reels, as gun oil or for anything else that needs oil'n it stays put and does a great job. Not a nice odor tho. lol

its gonna take a life time to hunt and fish all this
i snagged a beaver once trolling around in a small lake, it broke my 4lb line pretty quickly.
Best one yet. Thought i had a few good stories about a river otter in the nose, seagull in the air, diving bird, blue shark, rock, and the eye of a #10 swivel of a broken off leader of a steelhead previously caught and lost by one buddy and then caught by another, but a 64 radio in Buntzen that still works??? that's awesome!!!!!!!!!
