I have finally got my cameras out and have left them for a good soak. Weather, roads, wind and work had me get a slow start. Trying some new cameras this year as well and had the work the bugs out.
Anyways, the big boys have been slow in coming. I have a bazzillion pictures of moose, lots with calves. Seems every spot there is moose, lots of moose. Cows, calves and bulls are all showing up this year. Elk are again showing up in great numbers, with lots of calves, including twins. Deer have been slow in showing up, same as last year. I think the moose and elk keep the deer away until later in the year. Bears are typical, show up, beat the camera around a bit and move off. Again, lots of cubs as well.
Anyways here is a few of my fav so far:
Moose
Cow with twins from last year, including a young bull. Good to see they both survived.
And now we know how flys and mosquitoes survive, check out this bulls flank.
Cheers
