    Not to shabby!

Well finished my visit back east on a pretty high note. Locked up a field with 3-5k mallards and puddle ducks in it after chasing down every farmer in the area. And It was epic. Shot our Limit of puddlers with 3 blacks and one beauty of a pinny that I picked out of a 100 plus mallards. Tried to shoot drakes only but some suzies got brought down with friendly fire.

Back home to BC on wednesday

Good to hear Lorne. Stud of a sprig too!!
1st Im in charge, and if not Matt is. Your job is to sign checks, tell us we're doing good and open your case of scotch after a good day. 2nd my fee. You can keep it, all I want in exchange for my service is the right to hunt all the drakes. A male. Buck only. Why and how are my business. If you don't like it, go alone. Set up right here or in a swamp or in the middle of a noshoot field for all I care. I've been on too many duck hunts with rich dentists to listen to any more suicidal ideas. Ok?

Nice sprig! What a bag! A few years ago my dad and I got into some great pinny numbers and limited out on real mature sprig pinnys (4 each) on the ocean. We were to dumb to taxidermy one and ate them all... Since that day I have not shot one. But the next mature one we get is definately going on the wall, as I think they are beautiful birds.

    Sweet shootin'
