I have seen it done in burnaby lake. But the lake is being dredged right now.
and I dont think i would eat anything from that lake. I pulled 2 boat motors out, 3 various sized boats, (I used to be a kayaker there) And lots of wallets, tires keys and boots. Some of the fish that i have seen in there have multiple eyes and I cant prove this but i swear they had lazers shooting from their eyes.

I don't know as I'd want to eat any fish from a warm, shallow lake.
