How much wind is too much?

This morning was top drawer, we took 4 limits of birds in just under 2.5 hours. The wind had the birds in aconfused state and the 15 plus foot tide was a big help as well. All birds shot had their legs down and wings cupped, dropping fast into the blocks, with the wind in their faces.

Im not sure pass shooting ducks going with the wind when its howling is the best advice to give someone unless you don't plan on retrieving a lot of your birds?

We hunted this morning as well and killed a couple again.

Depends where you hunt and whether you have a retriever! I tend to hunt B bay or farmers fields and have Jman to pick my ducks up so not usually a problem!

We hunted today and it was blowing 70 SE with gusts to 90 and a torrential downpour. We killed a couple.....

Super desperate. "eyeroll" Fair weather hunters are my favourite! We never run into each other!

I did. The eagle got it before I could wade out there.

Yea that is true, someone else wounded a hen mallard out there. It kept diving under from a circling hawk that was swooping. I finished it off and the hawk snatched it. Granted he did see it first.

Your lucky, I've lost three to Eagles but I guess they have to eat too.
