    Spend a little more and get it's big brother. They're both good, the mossy is better. I've owned both but now it's the 500.
    Take a kid hunting its more rewarding than shooting an animal yourself!!

    I already have a Mossberg 535 with 28" barrel and a 20" barrel would cost me $200 or thereabouts.
    Maverick is only $20 more for a whole new gun.

    BTW, I saw a bunch of deer in that spot I went to so I'm thinking about foregoing the fishing this weekend and try and get one now that it's open.

    Ive put 300+ rounds through mine and have yet to have any problems. I replaced the stock on it with a $40 aftermarket ATI stock. Is it a Benelli? Nope. Does it work reliably? Yep.

    Always works, good workhorse .... Watch for rust if you don't get it dry and clean shortly after use in inclement weather!
