    D loop fraying?

Has anyone experienced their d loop fraying with a hook release?
I use a Tru fire hardcore hook release and after many shots the loop is starting to fray. I've tried to smooth the edge on the hook to remove sharp edges but it's not making much of a diff.

Put a new dloop on. If you hsve the same issues bring it up with "Tru fire"

Have a real close look at your release. Check for any rough spots that might be eating up your D-loop and then use some emery paper to smooth it out.

A guy told me to use a piece of para cord or something like it then put jewelers rouge on the cord and pull back and forth over the hook. But get a new D-loop also. Cheers Roscoe
