    25/06

Well as I posted before should be out and hunting by Sunday, have decided to take my 22/410 and my 25/06, it has always been my go to gun, so will take it.
Was thinking of other calibers, even my good old 303, but I have used the 25/06 so much now it is hard to turn it down.
Anyway, hope to pot some grouse, catch some fish and if things go well maybe a deer.
Will be using 120 Grain Grand Slams, see how these things work in this caliber.

Grand Slams are good boolits. A friend of mine has shot numerous moose with his 25-06 and so has his daughter. I will probably get slammed for saying that, but oh well, the truth is the truth.

    A 25-06 is a fine gun !!!

I know guys who have shot moose and elk with it .... as well as one fella who shot a book grizzly with it .... although he admits to emptying his gun on the bear.
