    Elk Rack

Found a very nice Elk Rack along one of the rivers around here. Very even 5x5.

Kinda strange, where's the rest of the head? Looks like its already been sawed down and ready for transport.

It was in the river, and pollished up pretty good, not sure if it was chewed on first or not. It's just the nose and upper jaw thats gone, the rest of the skull is there. Like I said in another thread, I already went to the local CO, and he was fine with it.

Yeah I was just wondering of someone maybe lost it out the back of a boat or ????? I have seen really old sculls that have been chewed on enough to remove the head too or enough to cause them to fall apart.

    Nice find.
