    For those that are wondering

    I am in Alberta and can hunt them legally anytime of the year on private land

    The only time I ever saw them in abundance was when I spent a year in Medicine Hat. Definitely a cool creature.

    Well how about that, another fellow with a fondness for the overlooked critters - This thing is kewl!
    As an over zealous teen in Saskatchewan, I was dared to take one on in a hand to hand...... I truly thought I was going to die that day, soon after it and I started.

    I have a wolverine in the wait and am looking SO forward to the day it's done.

    And BTW, did ya keep its skull?

    Very cool, Blacktail! As people have mentioned, they are a little more rare here in BC. That said, I have seen two in the Vernon area over the last 7 or 8 years.
