Glanced away, then looked back.. and watched him run away. Nice cinnamon phase too..

    weird season!
Noooo, you let the sausage run away?!?

Once again Ourea, this post gets some great attention and some awesome info being passed around.

To everyone who has been adding pictures and info, thanks!!!

Been a real slow year for buck sightings....until Nov, then some of the boys have shown up......

Interesting to note that we have had warm weather up until today and although the boys have started to come out of the wood work, so to speak, they are just starting to get interested in the ladies, Now if I could only figure out the timing between the day time poses and me having to work, we might be showing some bone on the ground!!! Still gets the blood pumping!!!

Fun times in the next couple weeks!!

Just rolled down off the hill after a cam sweep.
I have struggled with getting decent bucks on cam lately let alone some hammers.

I pulled a few cams on Wed (3 days ago) and shook my head in disappointment.
A few bucks here and there, small 4's and 5's.

Well it just WENT OFF as of yesterday.
Numerous cams have multiple bucks that all decided to show up yesterday.
A good volume of daytime pics where it was all nocturnal buck activity up until yesterday.

A set of cams 20km away from my primary area show the exact same spike in buck action on the same day.
They simply came out of the woodwork.

I find it incredibly interesting how the switch just goes "off".
I will bare down now checking cams daily and when one of the target bucks shows I will be all in.
    Been a long wait.......

    That's great to hear. Don't have a complex...multiple
set up like you, Ourea...but I'm hoping the same thing happens over this way. Got 3"
of fresh snow this morning and there was quite a bit of
    sign on the drive out.
.....and guess what? It's November 20th tomorrow....just as predicted!

I looked to see if you ever posted a thread regarding your experience regarding trail cam quality, reliability, function, battery life, and bang for the buck. I'm sure a few of us, including myself, would appreciate your insight and experience. Maybe the "Ultimate Trail Cam Thread". Cheers
